NCCR Accreditation

Eura Conservation's senior conservators are all accredited by the
National Council
for Conservation-Restoration (NCCR).
To achieve accreditation, each conservator has had to prove to a
group of their peers that they are capable of independent professional
conservation practice. Since the scheme's introduction, many clients
and tender documents have specified the use of accredited conservators,
as a means of assuring the quality of work.
Eura Conservation's staff also take accreditation one stage further
- by contributing back to the profession through research, lectures
and seminars at colleges and conferences and by taking part in the
assesment of other conservators.
For more information about accreditation, please see "Accreditation
news and views" on the UKIC website.
