    Parks, Gardens and Fountains

Fountains have become attractive focal points of many gardens and parks in Europe. However, if not maintained properly the historic and artistic metalwork is likely to corrode, spoiling the water feature for everyone. Eura Conservation has restored several fountains to full working order using modern techniques which will help ensure the longevity of the the fountain well into the future.

    St. Pancras Gardens

The historic elements conserved by Eura Conservation included a Grade II listed drinking fountain, listed gates and railings, the metalwork of tombs and four cast iron urns.

    Crystal Palace Park

The dinosaurs are part of the world's first three-dimensional representation of prehistory at Crystal Palace Park. As part of the extensive renovations of the park landscape, Eura Conservation restored the 150-year-old dinosaurs.

    Hubert Fountain

Eura Conservation was the management contractor for this project, being responsible for all works packages. These included conservation works, construction of a new pump room, new hydraulics to the fountain, lighting to the fountain, render works, scaffold, drainage etc., as well as the day-to-day administration of the project.

Various Fountains, Royal Parks of London

We were commissioned to restore fountains in the Royal Parks of London, as part of the development of the Princess Diana Memorial Walk. The fountains included drinking fountains for humans and dogs!

    Lincoln Arboretum

As part of the extensive redevelopment of the arboretum, we surveyed, dismantled, conserved and restored a wrought iron bandstand, a shelter and various urns, gates and railings. The result is authentically painted and resistant enough to last for years to come.

    Ornamental Lead Peacocks

We carried out minor conservation work to this pair of lead peacocks from a private estate. The lead was reshaped, and new stainless steel armatures were constructed to prevent further distortion, and to affix the peacocks more firmly to their plinths.
