While seemingly prosaic, the effective conservation of gates, railings around a site can enormously add to the aesthetic appeal of the site, whilst retaining its historical significance.
These gates are massive sets of highly ornamental iron and copper alloy gates, located opposite Buckingham palace. It was decided to conserve these gates as part of the park renovations for the Princess Diana Memorial Walk. Eura Conservation was the principal contractor for the project, responsible for all works packages - stone work, iron work, bronze work, ground works, etc.
