Membership bodies

We ensure that we’re involved with the most reputable membership bodies in our industry, some of the most notable include:

Considerate Constructors Scheme

Started in 1997, this important initiative operates voluntary Site and Company Codes of Considerate Practice, to which participating construction companies and sites sign up.

The Scheme is a non-profit-making, independent organisation founded by the industry to improve its image. The Scheme is neither grant maintained, nor funded by the government, and is solely financed by its registrations.

Individual membership of the Institute of Conservation

Professional Accreditation of Conservator-Restorers (PACR) is the professional practice assessment for conservation professionals wishing to gain accredited status.

Accredited status demonstrates that a practitioner is a fully-qualified and capable professional. The PACR accreditation framework applies a common standard across the profession, regardless of the route you have taken to reach a professional level of capability, your specialism, or the context in which you practice.

Historical Metallurgy Society

The Historical Metallurgy Society provides a forum for exchange of information and research in historical metallurgy. It aims to gain recognition for the subject from the community at large and to be consulted when issues of preservation and recording arise.

The Society comprises a Council which makes all major decisions, a number of committees which report to council, and the membership.
