Our accidents statistics have consistently been excellent and we strive to continuously improve. We run an extensive programme of health and safety training initiatives and have rigorous systems to enforce our policy.

Embedded Safety Culture

Safety is maintained as a focus for staff throughout the business with consistently high scoring feedback and performances reported by main contractors. All our operatives have CSCS qualifications appropriate to their grade. We also achieved ‘Considerate Constructors Scheme Performance Beyond Compliance’ certification.

Competent Advice & Auditing

We are currently awaiting our CHAS accreditation. QA Consultancy Ltd act as our external health & safety advisors, ensuring we have up-to-date advice on all health & safety matters.

As part of our internal audit system we monitor and report back every site once a month and our Director of Health & Safety carries out spot checks regularly. This process ensures our site managers are vigilant in their health and safety monitoring and helps ensure compliance at all times. Periodic inspection reports are passed back to the H&S Director for processing and action. Our H&S Management Team meet monthly to discuss performance monitoring and feedback, addressing best practice compliance and driving improvement. Feedback from these meetings is reported down from H&S Managers to Site Mangers and Site
Operatives during weekly meetings, through HSE Bulletin Board updates and Toolbox talks and is always included in site inductions.

Responsibilities

Russel Turner ACR, Managing Director, is responsible for driving the health & safety policy and procedures. Russel holds an industry accredited CSCS Conservation Consultant qualification and as such ensures health & safety best practice is adhered to throughout our organization.
